VISION OBJECTIVES WHO ACHIEVEMENTS TO DATE ACTIONS IN PROGRESS - Spring Summer 25 / Ongoing FUTURE PLANNED ACTION - Autumn 25 Onwards RESOURCES REQUIRED
3. Improve the experience for pedestrians in the village especially those with reduced mobility/impaired sight by removing street clutter, installing seating, pedestrian crossings etc. SCC / EBC / CPC (1) CPC installing a new bench on The Parade.
(2) CPC investigating possibility of a dropped kerb with tactile paving on the SW corner of The Parade with SWR
(3) CPC pursuing installation of pedestrian crossing on Church Road.
CPC EHTC to be alert to any obstacles / accessibility issues within the village for those with impaired mobility and wheelchair / pushchair users and to seek improvements. StAR
6. Improve access to Claygate railway station for all users including the railway footbridge. EBC / CPC Railway footbridge has been repaired and is due to reopen at end of February. CPC EHTC to be alert to realistic opportunities to improve facilities for less able residents. StAR
