The CPC Chair tries to close down the discussion, claiming that Cllr Moon's attendance at the 17th July meeting must have been proper because the minutes had subsequently been confirmed and signed (email from Cllr Holt, 5th September 2025)

I understand that at the meeting of the Planning Committee on 28 August you did ask about the attendance of Cllr Moon at the meeting of the Planning Committee on 17 July, despite having been told that the question had no bearing on any agenda item, and that you would not receive a reply, but that I would write to you. I am therefore writing in response as I said I would do.
If you refer to the Minutes of the meeting on 17 July you will see that Cllr Moon is listed among the Councillors present. Those Minutes were agreed and signed at the following meeting, and they therefore ’stand as an accurate record of the meeting’ (see SO 12(c)). I have asked the Clerk not to spend more time answering any further questions from you on this issue, and I must tell you that I do not intend to do so myself. |
