A Meeting of the Claygate Parish Council will be held on Thursday 25th September 2025 at 8.30pm in Claygate Village Hall, Small Hall, Church Road
The meeting is open to the public and press. A quarter of an hour has been reserved for members of the public to address the Council, for three minutes each, on any subject relevant to the agenda. In order to address the meeting, we would appreciate you contacting the Parish Clerk before 11am on the day of the meeting who will allocate a slot. All meetings will operate to our Privacy Policy which can be found at www.claygateparishcouncil.gov.uk. Doors will open at 7.20pm.

- To accept apologies for absence.
- To receive any Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda.
- To confirm the minutes of the previous meeting held on Thursday 24th July 2025.
- Reviewing actioning of items from previous minutes and agree any further action required (Appendix 1).
- To answer any questions from the general public.
- To update on the current situation with Castle Water.
- To update on the replacement of the Village Hall noticeboard.
- To discuss the way forward with the Bench on the Parade.
- To update the current situation with the Website and discuss the next steps.
- To approve the month end reconciliations for July and August 2025. (Appendix 2)
- To update on the progress of the AGAR.
- To approve the update meeting dates for 2026 (Appendix 3)
- To review the paper from Cllr Herbert on the possibility of advertising in the Claygate Courier.
- To confirm the date and venue of the next litter pick in October and to discuss the date for the May 2026 litter pick.
- To confirm arrangements for Remembrance Sunday.
- To receive an update from the Shops and Businesses Group.
- To receive an update from the Health, Leisure and Wellbeing Group.
- To discuss whether our position on requests for speed restrictions on Hare Lane has changed following a recent traffic incident there.
- To discuss any updates on devolution and agree if any further action is required.
- To update on EBC's announcement re Community Service Transformation.
- To discuss if there are any further updates on the Torrington Lodge car park consultation and agree if any further action is required.
- To discuss any updates on Claygate the Way Forward and agree if any further action is required.
